It is my joy and responsibility to share the journeys of people in my community as a broadcast journalist.
After graduating from Florida A&M University in 2007, I began my professional reporting career at FOX 40 News in Jackson, Mississippi.  A few years later, in 2010, I continued my journey in journalism at WTKR News 3 in Norfolk, Virginia where I am living out my dream as a morning anchor and special projects reporter.
Over the past decade, I’ve covered heartbreaking and heartwarming stories.  I’ve seen the worst in people and the best of humanity.  My work has earned an Emmy and several Associated Press Awards.  However, the best part of my job is being able to connect with thousands of people along their own life journeys.
Enjoy a look at some of my most memorable stories, and some segments I’ve shared about my journey on the air, too!
